On Tuesday April 24 and Wednesday April 25th we will host the Coronation Presbytery.

Approximately 40 people will come and meet to do the work of the church. Using the theme of Connections and Celebrations, the work of Presbytery this year includes

  • taking time to wrap up projects, and gather information to be shared with the new Regions that will form in January of 2019. Making sure that there strong connections between who we are and who we are growing to be.
  • choosing representatives to be nominated as Commissioners to General Council in Oshawa this July. Ensuring that we have voices to connect the people of Pastoral Charges to the folk who serve us in our national offices.
  • celebrating all that our Coronation Presbytery has been in the church. Looking back at the founding congregations and how we have grown from there. Celebrating the richness we will be sharing in different ways in the future as our church evolves and grows.

As hosts, we will be offering these folk hospitality

  • a place to meet,
  • beds to sleep in, (we will need folk to offer billets)
  • food for body (breakfasts, lunch, suppers)
  • food for soul (worship begins the meetings)

This is the last time we will be able to host Coronation Presbytery as it's task is completed at the end of 2018 and it will be disbanded.

Come as a volunteer, come as a guest... join in this journey of Connections and Celebrations in our church journey.
