Easter Sunday this year feels very different than the Easter Sunday's we remember. But ... Easter still arrives. Even when we don't see it, even when it looks different, God's love meets us and surrounds us where we are.
Easter is a story of fierce love, of selfless love of God's love for all people.
We join in online Communion ... because there are no walls that can hold God's spirit from us. Bring elements for communion to this table with you. Bread and juice preferred, but really, anything that symbolizes the nourishment of body and soul for you.
We listen to the Easter Message of the Moderator and consider how Easter is different for us this year. This is a day of hope and possibilities. In the midst of great darkness, Jesus showed us that the determination to serve, to teach, to love was worth it and that living for God and with faith in God has the power to move us from the expected into the extraordinary beyond our comprehension.
