In our church year, we now find ourselves in the Season of Creation. Our church colours reflect the land colours as they change to orange – reminding us of creativity, fruitfulness, endurance and strength. We see this reflected in sunrise and sunset, fall and harvest. This is the red of passion tempered by the yellow of wisdom. In this time of gathering the gifts of the earth, let us focus on recognizing the Holy in those gifts and our caring response as we receive them.
