This week is our first week sharing worship with Camrose United Church.
On this Communion Sunday, God offers Moses and the Isrealite people reminders of how to treat each other with care through the 10 Commandments. They were reminded about how they needed to reground themselves in rituals but also caring for each other, if they were to be sucessful in moving forward. Returning to where they had been was not an option.
It seems fitting that, through these scriptures, we too are challenged to go back to the basics of looking after each other, forming community in new ways because, in these COVID times there is no going back to where we were.
Scattered or together, we are indeed, in this together.
A Communion Service will also be available for those who wish to gather around one of our familiar rituals, to ground ourselves for the journey ahead.
