In this time of pause, when we are asked to remain separated from our community, without any real idea about how long this will last, or where we will ultimately end up, we find ourselves following a journey of others in the same predicament.
In the stories of Advent we see people taken out of their comfort zone, having all plans and expectations whirled away from them, having to to make decisions that take them into places they never would have expected.
And they did. They survived and their story grounds us every year and reminds us that faith gets us through all challenges.
Join us on our Advent Journey to Bethlehem. Let's figure this mess out together so that when Christmas comes -- and it will-- we will appreciate the simplicity of knowing God comes to be with us even in the chaos and the unexpected.
