2019 was a year of celebration and goodbye for the Youngstown United Church.

On Wednesday, April 17, we gathered to say goodbye to a building that has been a faith home to Methodist, Presbyterian and United Church folk since 1913. It is now to be a home for a family instead. We celebrated the stories of the building and it's people and the support that it offered to the surrounding community.
The congregation has grown throughout the years from small to large and back to small again. We recognized that the work of this congregation has come to an end and so the Youngstown United Church Congregation will cease to formally exist as of today, December 31, 2019.
It's stories will forever be part of the history of the community it was part of, the faith of it's members an example to us all of dedication and commitment.

The story of this place is held in the heart and memories of those who knew it and know it now.
God is moving the Youngstown congregation members to share their faith in different ways, to find a new way to be God’s church in the world.
We give thanks for Youngstown United Church.
