Summer Sundae Baptism - July 22

Today our evening worship explored the meaning and rituals of the sacrament of Baptism...

We were very privileged to be able to have a Baptism as part of our worship. 

As usual, we were gathered in the basement of the church. This created a small and intimate place for us to create a circle as we celebrated this ritual together. We had more people than expected so had a double row of chairs! Exciting!

We tried something new... the Godparents were not able to be with us in person so we Messengered and Face-timed them in. They were able to be with us  through the whole service and offered their responses clearly and right on time!

Welcome Indiana Bamber, daughter of Jason and Maxeen, grandaughter of Glenn Bamber. 

We began with hot dogs for supper and ended with ice cream sundaes... how very appropriate when we were celebrating the addition of a child to the family of the church!
