Our first week of camp was a success!

23 children, ages 5 to 9, joined us for a week of fun, August 10-14.

They arrived at 9 a.m.  and left us at 4 p.m. or sometimes later. They were awesome!

This program "Holy Land" was a team effort of many people from our church and beyond:

Joanne did all of the planning, and Georgia Sullivan joined her with planning and implementation . Her sister, Karen,  brought her education skills to us from Calgary, (thanks Karen:) ). Terry Pearen did the treasure hunt, the fishing, and the boating. Grace Anderson and Delores Christiansen made lunch four of the five days, and Vickie Smale brought in fresh veggies. Velma Pearen made stone soup. Other folk provided snacks.

Thanks so much to all (kids and volunteers) for making this such a great week!
